This is the only BM band of last 2 decades with 2 classic worthy albums

It's like a cacophony of another band in another dimension playing incredible BM.

Yeah no.

Paysage and Moonsorrow are the only BM bands of any era that I have with two 5's, though Saor, Deathspell, and Agalloch (if you call them BM) are strong contenders. I used to have Emperor there too but Welkin's fallen off for me.

then Das Tor. Kristall and Steineiche are the other musts. Opinions about Kerker, Nacht, and Schattengang vary. Hawks loves Kerker. Die Festung and Einsamkeit are solely ambient albums.

Yeah man, I've been reading Vagabond recently to practice Japanese. I am halfway now, it's just perfect.

The 3 I just mentioned are different bands btw :3
Nice, I can read hiragana and katakana, which isn't much in the grand scheme of things. I've been balls deep into berserk again then gonna revisit vagabond and start blade of the immortal. Own them all so no rush
|
| |
Nice, I took N3 a few years ago but lived in Japan for almost 10 years so I am more or less fluent. Kanji reading is another thing man, and Vagabond uses a lot of old kanji that is impossible to keep up with.
20th Century Boy was a good one for studying if you wanna get into it.

Sun of the Blind still flying under the radar to an extent. Also Steineiche and Kerker underappreciated
