It's an easy album to forget about at times, I think. I've listened to DGD since 2011, but I've only recently in the last year or so given it some serious listening time. It's kind of an experimental album. Which is unfortunately why a lot of people skip it.

Jon Mess' vocals are so hard to get into for me on this ... that is 100% what brings it down in my opinion.

I will say that this is probably the “worst” Jon sounded, but he still kills it. So many of my favorite DGD tracks on here (Alex English, Zoloft, RWHH 3, Nicotine Armoire 2), I just feel the band hadn’t synergized with Kurt yet and it feels a bit bloated at times. Still a fantastic album of course.

Yeah, I mean I agree, it definitely still has its fair share of bangers, but it's probably the only DGD album that has songs I legitimately hate ("Uneasy Hearts Weigh the Most", and "Rock Solid")
