Thanks.

My fanboyism would get in the way of me reviewing this though.

Anyone looking for Watershed part II. You don't need to look further, some Americans came up to par to release the same album at the same time as Watershed. Granted it kicks ass and is very similar to Opeth and Katatonia but people should check out Lost To The Living from Daylight Dies nonetheless.

Daylight Dies, huh? They don't dress like Vikings, do they? 'Cause I'm really looking for a group that dresses like my Nordic ancestors, but with thongs and nipple tassles. Do you have anything like that?

Anyone worship Agalloch here?

No problem fellas. And yes, we do worship Agalloch here, especially me. Dismantling Devotion sounds more Katatonia is my particular favorite from Daylight. Lost To The Living is more Opeth. Kickass band nonetheless. I had to up this record as it has become my favorite and most played Opeth album.

It does sound kind of like Opeth, but slower and doomier...and not as good vocals

imo. Rulesauce album none the less, with more listens I may raise it to a 4.5

Watershed is better imo.

:edit: I don't particularly worship Agalloch like I do Opeth and Dream Theater, but I'd

definitely say they are in my top 10 bands of all time. They came a long way since I

first heard them, I used to think they were boring as hell, but now they're one of my

personal favorites. This Message Edited On 07.05.08

After several more listens and letting this sink in, I think a 4 is fitting. Quite the awesome album.

Edit: to Rasputin - I was bound to get it sooner or later, and now I can listen and digest The Gallery. This Message Edited On 07.08.08
