@RedSizer No, they gave it a 1/10 and spent the whole review talking about embarrassing the lyrics while fondly looking back at their hijinks with Pretty Hate Machine. When I finished reading that review, my loathing for Pitchfork was cemented.
You either hate all of Trent's embarrassing lyrics from Halo 1 to Welcome Oblivion or shut the fuck up and love it. >;3

I agree so much with this review. The Fragile is just two discs of waiting for the album to start. It is an album I atroceously wanted to like but I cannot listen to any of its tracks entirely, there is absolutely no density, every single idea seems to be spread like jam on a toast, repeated endlessly until what was nice at the beginning becomes intolerable. There is not one bit of cohesion and each song feels like you are on a different album, or that you are starting the album again. Most songs are ruined by one terrible element which makes it unlistenable whatever qualities it has. What kind of a start are "Somewhat Damaged" and "the day the world went away" ? A song unbearably repetitive wich cannot survive its unbeleavably simplistic main riff followed by a song which feels like a closer to an entire album because it is mainly just a four minutes outroduction. And then, what !?! An interlude. And it carries on like that for two discs, each track plagued by an unredeemable mistake.
