As I was saying, this cd really isnt that bad. I happen to like M. Shadows vocals on this cd although most dont care for them. Bought this on the first day mf'ers and still crank it.

the city of evil album sounds like iron maiden, guns n roses, pantera (but not queen) because thats where a7x gets their stuff from..they like their style, for a fact guns n roses and pantera, and so they have sort of adopted them..so theres no surprise when their music sounds like that of these great bands..and as for M. Shadow's vocals being more melodic than screaming..its not only because of his throat surgery but also the band has stated that not all their albums are going to be the same..even with their self titled CD coming out on October 30th...its going to be different then Sounding the Seventh Trumpet, Waking the Fallen, and City of Evil..because they're going to use different styles.

P.S...City of Evil is rated n the 60s for the top 100 albums of all time..and in that light..they most definately do not suck in any way, shape, or form
