Yeah this album fucking slaps.

One of my favourite albums as a teen.

This one and the last one they put out are pretty good. Shame about all the other shit surrounding them now.

Thefakesoundofprogress was probably my favorite alt/nu metal album ever and I listened to it a ton in a high school but the whole thing with Ian is super fucked up. Any time I hear his voice I just think about this stuff he did and I’m revolted, can’t listen to the band at all anymore

I don't say this about many people, but I hope the fucker dies soon so that people can go back to enjoying this band's music and supporting his bandmates.

Fake Sound was by far my favorite but this one is really good too. haven't listened in years tho.

That was a quick, resolute demolition that I thank you for.

I remember seeing these guys steal the show at Ozzfest '02 at like 1030 in the morning, and driving around pumping fake sound feeling like it was just the dopest shit around.

I still pine for a couple of those songs. It honestly is a hard thing to reconcile.

I'm just thankful I always postponed getting into their discography. Some of their singles sounded fun at the time I guess but nothing ever hooked younger me. And I can separate art from the artist easily but with this band it would have been impossible; I don't think there are things as disturbing as what came out from this singer in the industry.

Oh fucking hell, why was this bumped…

I haven't listened to pretty much any other their stuff since it all came out. Usually I'm all about "separate the art from the artist" but this one hits different for me.

I don't condemn anyone that still enjoys their music though.

My cousin loved these guys back in the day and had a massive thing for the vocalist, then when the news dropped I just remember her bursting into tears.

At least the other members formed something new and put the past behind them.
