I always had a hard time differentiating them until I saw them live.

If they put Edwardson back on vocal duties the world would explode.

"i find them hard to differentiate at times, especially now that they have both had so much time to refine their vocal performances"

I find it harder to tell who's who on the older stuff, simply due to the more hardcore-style vocals they used.

they have 3

And to be fair, Edwardson hasn't done

vocals since Sovereign

That's why I said "back" on vocal duties. I think he had the most powerful vocals out of all of them.

I was addressing relinquished's post.

And I agree to an extent. Edwardson's vocals worked best when he and Kelly would do kind of a "call and response" a la Raze The Stray and Locust Star.

Oh sorry man, and ya I totally agree. I really miss that style you mentioned, I love when all 3 of them do it on "Aeon".

No worries. I told Dave he needed to do some vocals on the next record.

I like both of the vocal styles. The hardcore style fit well with billy anderson's claustrophobic sound, and the newer style fits with Albini's big, open sound.

I know Edwardson isn't one of the main vocalists but he still does vocals live. Even if he didn't do vocals for the last few records, he was pretty prominent on the first records, like Souls At Zero.

Well, he needs to do some vocals on the next record, although I'm not gonna get my hopes up.

The title track has one of the best vocal performances I've ever heard.
