After all the shit talking i did about this album i didnt think i could ever like it. After listening to it like a million more times, i actually really like it now. Never thought i'd see the day.

Ants of the Sky, Viridian, and White Walls make this album a 3. Not much else that I really like on here.

Agreed. Leading Vision has been kicking my ass for a while now.

I still don't understand the hype with this band.

^(wizard) how do you not understand this hype? That leads me to believe that you really haven't listened. BTW hype pretty much follows any solid prog rock band, strictly based on musical ability alone

Overrated band is overrated.

Still decent though, I really want Alaska.

Over-rated it may be, and over-hyped it is, this is still easily a 5 for me.

Which one is the 'easiest' 5 for you then; this or Fortress??

Probably this. Fortress is incredible, but this blows anything PTH has done away imo.

I agree. Both albums are technically impressive and have their charms though.

i think you two are the first to really express that opinion. felt like im the only one who thinks pth have a bit too much just wailing about and no direction

As a whole piece of music, i'd completely agree. Both hae their strengths but this is just a little better than fortress.

I like PTH more but they haven't made an album that hits me as hard as this does. Kezia was close but Fortress is more fun songs than actual true power. I feel like something epic just slammed me everytime i listened to this all the way through. This Message Edited On 04.27.08

Yeah, pretty much. I love PTH, but their songs are not nearly as epic in the sense of crazy climaxes like BTBAM has. I love that about them. There really isn't a skippable track on here, as all of them are outstanding.

Anything that is not Ants of the Sky or White Walls is skippable. Those two songs makes this a 3 for me. The other stuff add that .5 of a rating.

Sun of Nothing is hardly skippable, I dig that track a lot.
