Yes I think so too. What a way to finish this thing.
T/t here is one of the most addictive songs I know of, want to hear it always.

All those statements are true Johnny.
I'd change nothing about this record.

nothing

swap Road, River And Rail for Otterley and Pitch the Baby for Lorelei
then this would be a comfy 6

Omg Lorelei.
But Treasure is a comfy 6.0 already, so we shouldn't complain.

Been giving this a lot of spins over the last week - it's lovely stuff of course, though I still undecided whether I prefer this or Blue Bell Knoll - the latter seems really underrated to me, at the very least the gap between that and this is pretty small.

ur wild! I expressed this take a few pages back but it's such a huge step up to me even if timbrally they already had the gist of things
there's a bar in brooklyn opening called "heaven or las vegas" lol #brooklyn
|
| |
Idk if I love or hate timbrally as a word but imma use it all the time from now on lol. Blue Bell is good but a pretty cold album imo, this is a gift that keeps on giving
Does that bar have tasty jams?!

Jammed this for the thousandth time today, weirdly doesn’t get old. Otherworldly stuff.

Not sure where the gap between this and BBK is supposed to be, the sound is pretty much identical and I wouldn't say the songs here are perceptibly better. If anything the nadir is worse than BBK, also this one takes a few songs to really get going.

Perfect record. Doesn't get old [2]

well there's the rub: you think this one "takes a few songs to get going"; I think "cherry coloured funk" is one of the greatest songs of all time
|
| |
Indeed the opener and closer on this are as good as it gets.
Magic.
