Nice. Absolutely true. Those numbers 1-22 must be incredible then.
Another incredible thing: even with their HQ albums and album tracks, many of their B-sides are equally fantastic or sometimes even better!!! Will definitely do a Cocteau B-sides ranked list some day.

Dude, this is best Cocteau period. It has emotion+. Perfect contrast between the harsher drum machines of their earlier sound and the dreamer niceness of their later records.
A 100% perfect album.

Can see that yeah although HoLV is pretty much nearly as perfect as this. They are just really really really REALLY good. Victorialand and BBK are yapping at their heels, and none of their records suck.

i find that the harsher, post-punky sound from their earliere records is something they did well to move away from. dreamy and hazy was the way to go, 100%. this is balanced, and has some great moments, but they still had a way to go.
