I genuinely haven't bothered with anything since Teeth but All the Love is Gone sounded decent tonight

absolutely worth going to DTGL purely to say you've seen Returning Empty Handed/Casting live. that shit was spiritual

ok yea these dudes are fucking unbelievable live, still at the top of their game. we got Boiled Frogs, Blue Spade and Happiness so I am happy. only song missing that's essential was Mailbox Arson

magical stuff my man, ive gotten all those songs but never all in the same set. last i saw them they were opening for a7x and we got there pretty late which had me hella anxious the whole time but like the second i stepped into the crowd they slid right into blue spade and it was one of the most goddamn transcendent things ive ever experienced

Funny you bumped this, I was just saying to my friends this is one of those classic bands I've never listened to. Commenting to remind myself to change that

Finally got around to this and it rules very hard. Excellent vocals and instrumentals all around. The spoken word vocals are a lil cringe but also charming in how unapologetically emo they are. Can't wait to dig into more and sad I overlooked these guys so long

the fact that this came from and blew up in a tiny suburban town in ontario pre-social media is something of a miracle

they were only one year ahead of fordirelifesake who were very similar on their first album
