Just an observation (not a negative one), I've given this album a listen this morning for the first time and noticed how similarly the Afghan Whigs sound to Fugazi. On "Turnover" and "Blueprint" in particular.

I like this but not in love with it so far, solid record. It might be a little too straight-up punk for my tastes, looking forward to some curveballs later in their discography. I hear there are curveballs.

3.5 means I enjoyed listening to it but as things currently stand it's not an essential album. If there's no improvement it'll be in the 'occasional pile', not because it's average, far from it, but just because I have other preferences.
