I'm so happy I never have to see Kevin Patullo call another game for the Eagles ever again. Sweet freedom. Awesome to punt away a year with an incredibly stacked roster because the head coach and OC suck ass though. I know Sirianni won't get fired this offseason but he should. They Birds won it all in spite of him, not because of him. I knew they weren't repeating back in week 3 though so I'm not even mad at the loss, just relieved.

Absolutely. Dude is a baller. It's not his fault he never has open receivers because his coaches don't know what an NFL offense looks like. He was an MVP candidate in 2022 and Super Bowl MVP last year.

dude undoubtedly brings it in the super bowl but i can't help but feel like this is kinda always what their pass game looks like post-2022, even for a lot of last year.

the eagles have the most expensive offense in the entire league, while also somehow maintaining an elite defense. 2 WR1s and arguably the league's best RB. oline took a step back and patullo surely sucks... but i feel like he shouldn't need the best players at every single position plus an awesome oc for the offense to be halfway functional.

i just can't imagine the offense looks anywhere near this bad if they had pretty much any other qb in these playoffs

Hurts single-handedly won games in 2023 with another bad OC and a terrible defense. He basically solo'd the Bills game when they won in OT. Last year there were issues with the passing game and Hurts was inconsistent but I still feel like that's in part due to how Sirianni wants to run the offense. Hurts also balled at times this year but legitimately almost never had receivers open. He had to try forcing just about everything and between Brown and Smith, they had 4 drops on 3rd down last night - the most in any playoff game since they started recording the stat in 2006 and the most the team had in any game this season. Hurts also was basically not allowed to run this year and we had zero run game to open things up for him.

AJ Brown also half-assed it a lot this year and seemed pretty checked out. Did you see how dogshit the offense was against the Commanders with McKee at QB? It's the coaching, not Hurts. There's zero doubt Hurts is a good QB and all the professionals like Brady and Warner will tell you that he's not the problem. Is he a top 5 guy? No. He can play at a top 12 level though when he's not hamstrung by his coaching. Jalen never airs out grievances with the team in public and yet he said last week in an interview that the coaching and play calling was the problem and then told Niners players on the field last night that they were well-coached.
