neither song has blown me away but i've never been too big into singles given their lack of context. they do sound rejuvenated and as though they are exploring more interesting ideas than Gore

The songs have an interesting production. It's not the guitar centered, in your face production you would expect. It's more layered this time around IMO. I agree with unclereich, both songs are good, but I am waiting for the album to hear them all as the band envisioned.
