I get having your own interpretations, but as far as what the band actually had in mind, i think people read way too into things sometimes.
|
| |
of course, but the band knew we would do that, which is why its even more possible.

definitely a curious interpretation.
afaik the cover for Science Fiction originally came from this series of photos taken for a fashion segment for Vice, it was on impact-resistant fabrics or something ironically enough. the photo set is pretty cool I think if anyone wants to take a look:

Why "SOS 666" tho? Like, what does that have to do with the rest of the image? Or is it actually not "save our souls, satan" but rather "save our souls" and "satan" as two separated things, representing god and the devil in order to make the symbolism of the girls more obvious; and to represent that they should be taken as two separated things one is represented by letters and the other by numbers.

What would you rate this alex

This is a 0.5
|

I have not listened to it.
|
| |
why?
|
| |
Why have I not listened to it? No special reason, just not interested enough.
|
| |
well i hope you give it a go, curious on your thoughts about its "accessibility", no sarcasm.
|
| |
I'm probably going to think it's just an album that is not inaccessible considering it's Brand New, but alright. I liked two of the three BN albums I've listened to so maybe I'll listen to it.
|
| |
nice, this is one rare one that i loved initially and has just grown exponentially since i heard it. Few of my other favorite albums have ever done that.

Potentially bad ideas with Agent, Exhibit #437457847567:
The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me, but with Jesse Lacey's vocals replaced by Spencer Sotelo

I always wondered what the cover was about. Thanks for shedding some light, Ponton. That’s pretty awesome. Never noticed the SOS 666 surprisingly.
