Just gave this a re-listen, and it cemented my opinion on it being the worst record of "classic era" Metallica
'Eye of the Beholder' may or may not be the worst Metallica track of all time for me, maybe its the production that sucks? I don't know.

Yeah shortest straw has a cool solo but other than that... mid as fuck. Unpopular take here, but I also think one kinda sucks. Intro is dollar store fade to black, drums are the clunkiest of any song on the album (despite the "iconic" kick part), harvester sounds like it belongs on black album, and honestly title track is bloated bullshit too despite having some cool sections
