That drew guy on instagram should have a hilarious recap of that game. His Browns fan impressions are the best.

at least this offseason people won’t be talking about Lamar choking as much. Both kickers should be fucking ashamed that they even put their teams in this position

I wasn’t paying too much attention to the ravens this year, I finally gave up on them an admitted to myself that he will always choke, but wasnt he injured for like half of it?

Fuck… that kicker is a rookie. Poor guy. I really kinda feel for him, hopefully he’s blocked comments on his socials. I’m sure he’s already getting a ton of heat

saying lamar has been lazy is nasty business, this was one of his most injury plagued pro szns, including a hamstring injury week 4 that he never fully bounced back from imo. he’s carried some really shit ravens teams on his back since he came into the league, just couldn’t do it this year.

Those are sentiments from fans and press alike. I don’t have a dog in the race and personally wish he was on my team. Should have been more clear about that.

lamar played through hamstring and back injuries last night so gotta give him somewhat of a pass... but outside of the opening drive and a couple botched coverages, the ravens offense was held in check pretty much all night long. felt like once again we saw derrick henry get 100yds in Q1 and then barely touch the ball the rest of the game

the kyle hamilton injury was the turning point. rodgers had something like 100yds on 30 attempts before he went down, after that he got pretty much anything he wanted

i expect our offense to be completely useless vs houston, if we give up more than like 13 we are toast

also gotta say i was extremely happy to see tomlin finally "coaching to win" in a big game like this after many many years of 4th & 1 punts and goal line field goals, even if we succeeded only like 1/4 times. maybe rodgers is rubbing off on him

“ maybe rodgers is rubbing off on him”
I honestly think this isn’t far off. I really thought he was washed when he was with the jets and his future was uncertain but the guy clearly still has the juice and I respect his game. I think their biggest hurdle will be Houston tbh, but if they can take that game and keep the momentum running I wouldn’t be surprised to see them in the AFC championship. I want the broncos to go all the way, and I do think they have the pieces to but this Steelers team can be kinda scary when they have their shit together.

Idk, maybe I’m wrong and this is just going off vibes and not hard data, but the only teams I’m more threatened by in the AFC are the pats and Jacksonville

I mean even if they won on Sunday they just would’ve fired him next week in the inevitable first round exit that Houston (or whoever) would’ve handed them.

Idk how I feel about that tbh. I’m not gonna act like it was a well coached game but I’m wondering if this means Tomlin might be in trouble?

He’s gotta be the longest tenured coach at this point right? I feel like he’s been coaching the Steelers for as long as I can remember and I’m not a young man anymore. Would Pittsburgh be looking to shake things up too? Especially considering Rodgers’ return is absolutely not a guarantee?

lol i have a buddy that lives in pitt that drove by tomlin’s house a week ago and a guy was picketing outside of it.

i personally do not believe the steelers will fire tomlin, though if they do it will almost certainly be after yet another first round exit. i think he is grossly overrated and needed to go a long time ago, but the steelers are extremely loyal to their HCs, historically.

i'd be shocked if we ever actually fired tomlin. he'll be the coach until he's in the grave if he wants to be.

which truth be told, for all the underachieving during the killer b years, he's beaten our preseason o/u by multiple games just about every year this decade. we play in a division with lamar jackson and joe burrow and have the same number of division titles as them in the 2020s, and we've made the playoffs more times than both of them.

if there was ever a time to actually fire tomlin, it was 2018, when he was essentially in the same spot harbaugh found himself in after sunday. hard to argue with the results since then given the qbs he's had to field tho (how much he may or may not factor into those decisions is another discussion lmao), even if the low points of each season have me wanting to jump off a cliff
