After hearing it played live I super love it. Before I just enjoyed it. It rules!

Feral rules yep

My love for this grew quite independently of hearing it live, funnily enough

I have never felt musical blue balls like being on a longhaul flight with a dead iPod whilst craving Feral. Not even close

You know what A Moon Shaped Pool lacked? A good drum song like 15 Step or Feral

My comment at the top here was RE Feral, not the album in general by the way, to avoid confusion.

Pool also lacked consistency. I don't even know what I think of it anymore. Perhaps I have to give it a go soon again, it's been a while.

"The "If you think this is over then you're wrong"-hype."

it didn't help that they called the closing track separator either lol

"when you can’t compare Radiohead to Radiohead, compare Radiohead to Kendrick"

pool is dope especially with the bonus tracks mixed in the tracklist. on another note, listening to this with my studio monitors for the first time and i'm enjoying it much more than i have the first 4 or so times i've listened before

Actually a fair comment. AMSP is the first album since... Pablo Honey that didn't have a track with delicious percussion. I mean even The Bends had Planet Telex

Gonna do a list of the juicy drum track on each album

The Bends ... Planet Telex

OKC ... Airbag

Kid A ... Idioteque

Amnesiac ... Pulk/Pull has best electronic beat, Dollars/Cents the best drums

HTTT ... Gloaming or Backdrifts for beat, There There for drums

In Rainbows ... 15 Step best beat, Reckoner best... sand in a jar

TKOL ... fuck man that's a tough one. Probably either Feral or Lotus Flower

I love the beat in Identikit and the drums in Present Tense rule, but yeah not on the level of those others

Amnesiac/HTTT/TKOL picks hmmmmm! This has so many lovely percussion driven tracks though. Bloom for instance 💚

Morning Bell's 5/4 feel is cool (and it's the better song), but Idioteque's drums are iconic af
P good picks all round tbh
