feels absolutely insane to see the chiefs essentially lose the west this early in the season. 11-0 in one score games last year, 0-5 this year. r e g r e s s i o n. if 4th quarter bo nix ever starts showing up in the other quarters, denver would be unstoppable.

not a particularly good day for darnold, though not nearly as bad as the 4 picks suggests. i feel especially good about the seahawks if darnold can do that and still only lose to the rams on a missed game winning fg. rams defense is on another level and is about as cutting edge as anything happening in the game rn.

imo goff had the much worse day, went something like 1/14 when pressured. kind of depressing after all his improvement and success to see him completely bottom out once again in a cold weather game against a good defense in prime time... awful game deciding pi call aside

i hate to say it but getting the mvp would've pushed him from comfortably "hall of very good" to a very likely HOFer and stafford may have just played himself out of it

this feels like the most high stakes steelers/ravens matchup in a very long time tbh... prob since the 2014 wildcard. last year's wildcard matchup was pretty tension-less given the state of the steelers at that point.

if the steelers lose to the ravens two years in a row with the season on the line, tomlin will be ran out of pittsburgh by every single person except rooney

if the ravens lose the division and miss the playoffs in large part to losing to this janky ass steelers team twice, seems like a 50/50 chance harbaugh is fired

the fanbase on the winning end will feel absolutely nothing, and both teams feel primed for annihilation by houston in the wildcard, but that's far preferable to the downward spiral awaiting the loser
