Because that's not the purpose of ratings. Obviously, i could rate all rnb albums a 1 because i don't like the genre. What would it achieve ? Nothing.

Ratings are here to help people discover other bands they would enjoy, in a genre they already know or want to try and hear the best in that genre.

If you're doing it just to piss off people (because you obviously have no clue even why this would never deserve a 1), then sod off man. Go back to the tupac discussions (but i'm guessing they're kinda dead . . . ).



If you're genuinely interested, there are a lot more accessible albums you should listen to first. Stuff like early Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, any Death album, etc. Depends what you want to try, thrash (technical speedy metal with fast tempo, crazy riffs and solos), death metal (lower tunes, double bass drums, heavy growls in vocals), speed metal, heavy metal, etc. i'm not going to describe everything, pretty sure you can find everything for that on google easily.

Again, what would be the point if everyone that hated a genre went and rated albums in that genre ? The albums would all be rated lower and the ratings would lose their purpose.
