nah it’s just as important as the cover. It’s not just a list of random words it’s the song titles lol, and if the song titles look boring people may pass over the album entirely, or not be able to distinguish tracks from each other

Like I said it has no effect on the quality of the music, but it matters from a marketing perspective. That’s like saying presentation doesn’t matter for food at a restaurant.

If I looked at this album’s tracklist and saw an interlude between nearly every track listed on the back of the box I would not be inclined to check it out lol.

Anyone who does that is ridiculous

Also I dont care about marketing or anything like that

The songs can have the same name but the interludes can be separated with a different name or just "skit".

It is just a list of words. Idk about anyone else but I dont stare at the track list of what I'm listening to. Just hit play and listen.

Seriously how does it make a difference in wanting to listen to it. I'm actually amazed right now. They still exist. Why would being told they're there be different

I’m not saying you care, I’m saying Kendrick cares. That’s why it is the way it is. You were saying “why aren’t the interludes separated” and I’m telling you why.

From vast quarter century long empirical studies I have now concluded that hip-hop is the most disposable of all genres and for the most part a bit shit.

I want a car to get me from A to B, last over 100000 miles and look sleek. Hip-Hop is the audio equivalent of low riding. Absolute bloody nonsense that bounces all over the place looks shit and means fuck all.
