but i don't like the division bell either. It doesn't have waters' lyrical and orchestral nastiness, it relies more on music than lyrics but the music is just dull and rehashed. Same with momentary lapse but at least that has on the turning away

I agree with you, but only a little. Sincerely, I think The Division Bell is the Floyd's best album since The Wall. However I agree with you that it lacks to it the genius of Water's, especially on the lyrics.

Lyrically speaking is weak yeah, musically on the other hand is solid as hell

High Hopes is awesome lyrically though, remembering better times, best way to end a career (fuk u Endless River no one counts u)

If you hadn't twigged I'm actually a key member of the band.

You can call me Dave from now on dude and you can be a guest on me next solo album which will actually make it a bit less shite.

"Album Rating: 5.0

damn, I always trip out at that part, it's some of the freakiest sounding stuff Ive heard. it doesn't matter how long it lasts, it bathes you in another realm of terror that only david gilmour can save you from, and oh how he does. Really makes the whole song a complete piece if you ask me"

thank you

i literally think its just too trippy for a lot of people to casually sit through

i feel bad for a lot of people

I mean, I think that mid section in Echoes clearly needs an specific state of mind to be digged, is not something you will always enjoy, at least that's not my case.
