That’s not the problem with the Pitchfork review though... it’s all that random autobiographical bullshit that follows

you do realise
that that is
a satire

Pitchfork reviews were always disgustingly anglospheric - needlessly obfuscated in sappy personal details, like they're all coming from quirky Charlie Kaufman characters. I always think: go back and invent light bulbs or something and leave the art of the critique to the French and Germans.
satire that makes GTA satire look good

"I am genuinely curious about something. Was it the infamous Pitchfork review that had spawned the Tool haters? Were sheeple programmed to think it's cool to despise this band or it came as a natural process? (- midwits overdriving their wimpy egos to embarrassing levels in order to compete with the superior IQ of Tool's fanbase -)"
I can't tell if you're taking the piss anymore.

the most accurate answer to both your and baseline's question is: yes!

Yeah, I think Johnny and I have agreed on this one for the next Kill/Keep :]

I can see Johnnys gleeful killing of this entire album.
His entire schtick will be compromised if he Keeps more than 2 songs from this.

The only problem I can think of with doing a Kill/Keep on this is that I'd only kill 2 songs, so I'll probably be way too biased lol
Then again, I guess that compensates for all the kills I made on The Fragile

But those kills were all perfectly justified.

We should do a version of Kill/Keep for users rather than songs. It's like March Madness but rather than judging whether one user is better than another, you just judge whether any given user is a net benefit to the site or net loss.

i will be the first to bash tool for being wank but jesus christ that Pitchfork review is even wankier

Wait why do a Kill/Keep on this?
1) This is perfect
2) It's really not that long
|
| |
if that pitchfork was for any other album the latter 75% of it would be insufferable
but it is not
and it is almost perfect because this band is also a wankstain
needed to come back to realspeak for the closing para or two so minus points for ending along with the bit
|
| |
no its all insufferable even if it for tool
that guy was high off the smell of his own farts
or it was such convincing art performance he was just emulating Tool to well for me to realize

It's amazing that people can still take something Tool-related and get agitated about it.
But ok, people are still fighting over Lennon's legacy so it probably wont go away.

This isn't nearly as wanky as 80% of the "dweedly lead" prog metal that abuses neoclassical arpeggios and other overindulgent bullshit
