remember when Radiohead fans thought TKOL was the first part of a 2 album series? as if it was the new fucking Green Day album or something lol

"everything else about A Moon Shaped Pool is fantastic"
Delusional.
And re the naming question most of the songs are old songs recorded across the span of the last decade plus meaning many of them were already named which means the logical conclusion is the former... even though a couple songs were renamed it would be a hell of a coincidence if the rest happened to sequence like that and they only had to retitle a couple to fit the alphabetical thing
Plus the sequencing is so uncharacteristically terrible that it further leads to the conclusion that it was indeed the former

"remember when Radiohead fans thought TKOL was the first part of a 2 album series?"
Tbf there was at least more reasoning to spurr this conjecture than the whole DAMN. and NATION. instance of this

Separator is a top Radiohead song for me. Probably my favorite actually

Separator is amazing. Second half of this is so great, first half is pretty inconsistent.
Did you guys know there's a live from the basement version of this that's way better and actually holds a candle to AMSP?
(pots don't blow up that old folks home, they did nothing wrong)
|
| |
The reason amsp is alphabetical is because not only did yall ruin radiohead for tkol fans but you ruined radiohead for radiohead and they just don't even gaf anymore
|
| |
I'll have to give it a listen! I really like this album tho. Has some incredibly brilliant moments

Only peeped this band live once and I gotta say that Caribou ALMOST upstaged them. They were great, but it was an inverse thing where at the time I was sort of meh on Caribou and he killed it and I was super into Radiohead and it was hard for them to live up. TBC they were great tho. I think most people are aware of the Basement sessions by now tho : P

Wow nevermind! Hahah. Spread that Basement love!

That's it. Now that Torontonian knows about the basement version talons has officially informed every living being on the entire planet about his wrong opinion on it, and even some of the planets other fauna toboot

Oh man crazy take imho. It’s been a while but most of the eraser is boring. Good title track but shit like “skip divided” is a complete yawn. Maybe I’ll give it one more try but I def don’t anticipate thinking it’s better than basically any Radiohead album
|
| |
Have you even heard the live from the basement version of the eraser its actually like 5 million times better and even holds a candle to that one james bond song radiohead did
|
| |
Skip divided is literally one of the best songs on the alb but I bet you like karma police
