Not trying to sound like a dick here, but i'm sure you were stupid too at some point. Zfighter is being stupid (especially in his personal comments), but it might be more constructive to educate rather than try and destroy the guy.

Even at my darkest moments of abysmal ignorance, I never resorted to personal attacks in lieu of a real defense. I never say anything I'm not prepared to back up, and I never have.
If this kid wants to be a moron, he's gonna be treated as such. If I think someone is ignorant but still overall a decent enough person, I show sympathy. In cases like this, fuck it. The kid had no intention of putting forth a decent argument in the first place, he was just getting gratuitously defensive over this god awful album.

ZFighter, for gods sake, if you feel you can back your opinion up, write a review, don't just resort to personal attacks. Jesus, if you havn't heard the albums steerpike named, maybe you should listen to them before passing judgement. Chances are, you might hear something you like better. If you really want to know about my knowledge of "true" music, I suggest you look up the threads I've started in the forums. I've been running a semi-regular series for over a year and have spotlighted over 60 bands in that time.

Opinion has been thrown around because that's what all of this is. Everyone needs to get over themselves, and opinions differing from theirs.
It's not opinions that bother me. What peeves me is when you get these brain-dead apes who think the word opinion magically clears them of any need to have logic, rationale, or even a semi-decent grasp over the English language.
If you can't respect your own opinions, you shouldn't be getting up on a soapbox and shooting them off.

There are some reviews of their albums around here somewhere. You'd get better responses there. We also have a forum system that's pretty healthy and has sections for the different genres (in broad categories that is).
