To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Ulcerate. The music is extremely abrasive, and without a solid grasp of music theory, most of the intricacies will go over a typical listener's head. There’s also the band's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into the songs- the musical philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these tracks, to realise that they’re not just metal- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Ulcerate truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the abnegation in the title track's existential catchphrase “cutting the throat of God” which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev’s Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as these genius compositions unfold themselves into their ear canals. What fools.. how I pity them

That adds even more depth. Unlike humans, dogs are pure and innocent, thus it is in our nature to destroy them. What's also interesting is God typically allures to the trinity, and Ulcerate also has three members. Perhaps they themselves are their OWN Gods, wielding the sonic cosmos like some sort of death metal Genesis.
