Fully loving the new Kendrick. I rec Reincarnated or Heart 6 if you want a single joint

I haven't heard it yet, will get round to it soon. I like the idea of Kendrick not trying to make some era defining masterpiece this time (although his Drake tracks are absolutely that)

Man in the Garden is the worst song Kendrick has ever recorded

"God I hope Oathbreaker reunite eventually. Their silence is so concerning"
I spoke to Caro at the Amenra show a couple months ago and my friend asked about Oathbreaker making a new record. She said they're in the talking phases and kind of laughed it off playfully so it's pretty clear if there is anything coming out, it's a lonnnng ways out. On the flip side though, she was awesome to chat with and extremely friendly. She seems content and happy just touring with Amenra at the moment.

I saw Amenra last year but Caro wasn't touring with them. I would have loved to have seen her onstage together with the band for the Doorn songs
|
| |
They only played one Doorn song which was the opener track off the album. They used it to close the show and Caro came on stage to join them for it and then after was right back to it selling merch lol.

Did anyone else check out that Cult of the Lamb EP with members of Polyphia/Trivium/Light the Torch/etc? I thought it was pretty decent.

Damn fear, I’m glad she didn’t just shut you guys down. I’ll fucking wait another 8 years I don’t give a shit, I just want another album man.
It’s wild, it feels like Rheia was by far them at their best and most popular and they just dropped off the face of the earth. Like I get there was personal issues but damn, I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like that.
|
| |
The last I read was that, she was publicly dating the guitarist of the band during Rheia, and they're all from Belgium, but then she moved to North Carolina and married an American. There's enough to infer why that would be a road block in reuniting the band.

Album Rating: 2.0
I had high expectations and this album disappointed. A few highlights, I won't get into that. You know who they are, otherwise, this album is just a fucking waste tbh, Chapter 1 or 2 I don't care, it's already a goddamn disappointment. Tyler Bates my ass, this was a lazy concept. Some interesting metaphors here and there, but overall, ''We Are Chaos'' was very sentimental compared to this. The review and rating is horsehit.

Protest ratings are lame, whether low or high. This album is quite decent imo, I didn’t see it coming.

Then a 3.2 is perfectly in line with your assessment, right?

“Then a 3.2 is perfectly in line with your assessment, right?”
Nope, it would be 3.6 then. To be clear, I never cared for avg ratings, and the avg here also leaves me cold. But I find it pathetic if ratings are used to express strong support/opposition (rather than the subjective evaluation of the music itself) so that the consensus is pushed towards one’s desires. Even if it does, so what? I won’t sleep better and neither will I feel pleasant tingling along my spine.
