black cloud might be the worst song on the album for me tbh it's like everything wrong with djentcore. i honestly wish the album sounded like echo sonata lite (read: drift) because at least it'd be good! the band sounds asleep most of the time

I can agree that black cloud is lacking in the songwriting dept, but it's also the only one where I think they do "popcore" well. Most of the other hooks on the album fall kind of flat.

Immediately upon listening to Cicada Siren I said "Hey this sounds familiar" and realized it partly lifted the rift from Bleed (probably unintentionally but it was still kinda funny).

Yeah the ending trilogy is ass. Shadow of Intent literally did that 10x better on their Elegy album

Stelliform, Echo Sonata, and the closer are all bangers. There's nothing outright bad on it honestly even the djenty stuff is fine. I'm a simple man tho and always had a soft spot for these guys
