Father Roach

Also there are far worse backups you can have besides Jacoby - it’s not like he stinks up games he plays in. He’s an amazing teammate too.

I do hear he used to rock the mic with a voice that's raspy.

WHY THE FUCK DO I REMEMBER THAT.

Haven't listened to the album. Yet, I know exactly how it's going to sound and I can smell it from North Carolina.

Jon Mess better not fuck up. Dude is legend. He should supplement his income with acting. Hommie pisses excellence. That being said...

Downloading the new Norma Jean instead.

I've been on this site since 06, I think? This profile since 09. I rarely check my ratings and such. I have Big Boi rated higher than much better albums and artists. Trust me, you're forgiven.

I'm surprisingly liking this album more than the last two. They could have trimmed some songs between Die Another Day and Pray to God but overall it's a fun and easy to digest lp for long car rides. Mess' half screaming half singing adds a lot here.

Agreed. I think it's getting a lot of hate because of the Tilian situation and general sketchiness about how the band is handling it. People went in ready to hate it and gave it one listen before slapping a shit rating on it. I'm not here to defend the band or convince anyone this is that good and I also find myself not wanting to listen to it too much just because it feels wrong to support Tilian's output. Thankfully the new Royal Coda rules.

I really think they've been on a decline for several albums, the Tilian news is just icing on the poop pie. Peaked hard with Happiness and gradually went a step down which each successive release.

Tilian era I'd probably say AS2.0 = Mothership > IG > Jackoff Juicer > ArSe > Afterburner

Band's musical peak was for sure pre-Tilian. Self-titled is my favorite but I was listening to Happiness yesterday and the band hasn't come close to writing something like Nasa in ages.
