It’s like any good double album, you need to put the effort in but it’s worth it

I don’t think I’ve ever sat through a double album first listen and loved it, that’s why average pop albums are 40 odd minutes!

man those prices are fuckin outrageous. I like Kendrick but man I’m glad I don’t like him as much as I like some lesser known rappers like peggy, tickets for his show were $35 and that’s with fucking turnstile

Monster is an incredible manga. Probably the best one tbh, even though it has its structural funninesses

Monster is fantastic but it's like 3rd on my Urasawa list. 20th Century Boys > Billy Bat > Monster > Asadora!

Asadora is fucking great btw if yall aren't reading it. It's Urasawa doing a Godzilla manga and it's just as awesome as you'd expect

caught him in dc last night, really great show with a lot of cool visuals

only sorta flaw was he performed (at least a verse or two, but mostly the entirety of) every single song on this album besides auntie diaries and mother i sober, and no i don't say that because I'm not a huge fan of the album... just that a) most of these songs just don't translate to a live arena setting all that well and b) they're still very new so there was a ginormous difference in the audience reaction between those songs vs. damn songs and before (n95 and purple hearts being the exception). made the songs feel like filler despite kendrick very obviously making them the focus of the show in terms of performance and presentation.
