Yeah this has definitely been growing on me with each listen. Probably on spin 6-7 now. I had impossibly high expectations to begin with, so with those out of the way, it’s a bit easier to appreciate this for what it is. Flawed, but still better than 90% of recent hip hop releases

Auntie diaries and mother I sober are definitely two of those moments where Kendrick's sheer honesty and mastery of his craft sort of barrel right through all the stuff that makes his music hard to access for me

Im definitively an oldhead and silent hill is by far my fav song
