Good take, well put. Its a very nice one. I personally prefer EB, like every song there has a clear ID, and pretty much all tracks have a cool highlight. I love this one, and praise the fact they went heavier (unexpectedly btw!)but I don't feel the same. Maybe more listens will help.

Think I prefer this to EB because not only are the heavy parts heavier but the softer parts are softer????? Like they pushed the EB sound to both extremes and it worked out really really well

Alex, you're right. It's heavier and softer. I really like that. Most of the time, you usually see a band only go one way. I think EB edges this one out, but I need more time with this one. So far the highs of EB are the band at the best for me, but that could also be the fact that I've listened to that for nearly 4 years.

I know what you mean Garth. I feel like it will be very hard for them to ever top Echo and Dust PT1.

That is like my favorite core song of all time. Not even kidding.

I can see this being a better album. Let's see. For now EB still has the edge. But this has some insane replay value.

Echo and Dust Pt1 really is fantastic, one of those songs that I've played consistently for years and never gotten bored of

Echo & Dust not even in my top 5 of EB tracks but it is by far the no 1 track recommend to others when curious about this genre

Because it's the best song on the album and one of the most fucking brilliant core songs ever written.

The last minute of E&D is simply genius. Highest point of their whole discog.

I get why people say others are ETID worship.

hang on, you thought that wasn’t entirely intentional? Or maybe I just set you up?… If so, I’m happy to oblige.

Demon will always join a "soft&hard" conversation.

"People like Asleep and Pika." do not compliment them Veks.
