this is extremely boring, Converge hasn't put out a good full album for at least a decade and this one just enables their worst tendencies. Axe To Fall had a ton of guests but was at least fun, this is just miserable

i get that this doesn’t try to be a viagra fueled full throttle cock rocket to the moon but it falls so far short of eliciting even a respectable half chub from my ear dicks that it begins to call a lot of things into question

firstly periphery suck major ass and the fact their sput averages are so high is more a testament to how lame the sites general taste is, where every mediocre metal album that gets below a 3.9 or something is apparently the victim of troll rating

secondly 90% of people here 'vocally disliking' the album have it at a 3-3.5, not posting constant gushing praise for every album isn't a hate campaign, its just discussion about the album. i was ultimately disappointed by this album myself considering the promise of a full collaboration between two artists who I really enjoy, I still think it's good but nothing that interesting or worth coming back to much, both artists have done way better

like sure you get morons like colton and pika and others going into every thread ever with a 1 or 1.5 and not contributing any meaningful discussion, and sometimes it can be fun, but if you aren't mentally blocking that stuff out at this point then apparently internet forums aren't your thing
