"I mean it’s *fun* but it doesn’t hold a candle to Chocolate Starfish"
In terms of objective music critique, probably not. But as a piece of nostalgic entertainment that arrives in a time of unprecedented anxiety and evokes a (mostly) simpler and better time while also good naturedly recognizing how dumb it is and we were, it exceeds. It's pure frosting that's somehow also carb-free.

Late to the party on this one. Is it bad? No. Is it good? Not really. Will I listen to it again? Highly unlikely. From a nostalgic perspective, this simply can't be better than chocolate starfish. For a band with such a bell end vocalist, that was a bloody great album for that time. To me this release in 2021 is completely irrelevant.

Barnacle gives me old-school Nirvana vibes and I love it for some reason

wasn't a fan of the Nirvana tracks myself.... I guess "Barnacle" was the big one, but there was another one (I think after that one) that I also thought sounded like Nirvana I can't remember anymore

You just wouldn't understand the intricacy and nuance that makes this release such a monumental success.

Limp bizkit and kid rock were equally terrible in the late 90s/early 00s but now I’ll take the worst song off this record over Kid rock’s new singles. So that’s a plus.
