I find it hard to believe you have 47% -core genres in your pie and are having problems finding good music this year lmao

I know people also really liked Bell Witch this year, but idk, maybe my Adderall-deprived brain just isn't wrinkled enough to listen to stuff like that. Hell, even the new A7X somehow turned out pretty good. Pretty much all of the stuff that 20 Buck Spin (label) has put out this year have been absolute zingers; still need to get through all of those. There's never been a better time to be into -core and extreme metal imo.

That Bonnaroo set put a huge smile on my face. So cool to see a crowd like that give these guys so much love.
Heavy music will take over the world m/

Fuck yeah I am glad you watched it. It was incredible. I tried to escape a pit up front only to find myself in an even bigger pit in the middle lol.
Korn at roo also drew an absurdly large crowd. Gojira and Deafheaven played roo in 2019 when I was there and I wish I could relive those sets.

“ Heavy music will take over the world m/”
It practically had at one point with the popularity of Metallica, so it’s entirely possible to happen. There’s always the potential for large amounts of people to love the music they currently just don’t happen to know about. It sucks how much influence marketing and awareness has over popularity in music
