The debut is on a whole another level but this is just solid post metal with sparkly sprinkles of prog

I was really late on listening to this album (it was on some very dodgy end of year lists, which probably put me off), but it’s absolutely excellent. Great production, well composed, lots of variety and well placed interludes/female vocals. I’ve seen them compared to Mastodon, but this is on different level to anything they’ve released since CTS in my view. The back to back tracks of Si-XIV and Mleccha are stunning. I already want to listen to it all again. Also, exceptional art work.
