I've been feeling that way since Drift
Its like after the Moments of Clarity ep his cleans became extremely annoying to hear, and the hooks weren't as strongly written to mask the fact that his voice is annoying.
But I will fully admit he absolutely KILLS it on Shadow Autonomous, which ends up being the best song on here.

so easily. there are like 4 songs where jesse's ever truly annoyed me and theyre all on either drift or neon. not only is his performance here stronger but all the hooks are maaad catchy and pretty varied

vanish canvas at 0:11 is what annoys me. its the way he pulls his notes up ward really drawn out and slow to be dramatic. theres nothing wrong with it but he literally does that weird inflection shit ALWAYS in everything lately

yea i love when he does that so different strokes lol when i think back to all my fav vocal lines on here they all kinda do that. works w the types of melodies he writes and them being a bit more legato and drawn out makes them more satisfying when they resolve imo.

You should change the title to "I didn't like Northlane before and I don't like Northlane now," and spare everyone the horseshit analysis attempting to hand-wave around your clearly present bias against the band. When there is a 2.5 point difference between the community average and your score, you might need to ask yourself if you are capable of offering an objective opinion before doing a review. Was the same bullshit with the Shadow of Intent review, except you didn't even bother trying to obfuscate the fact that you don't like Deathcore.

I like JT a lot better now that he's doing clean singing. Shadow Autonomous and House of Glass are two of my favourite tracks on here for that reason. His screaming still needs a lot of work, though.
