I think Alex has it right.

Pretty much mirrors the way I feel about DGD atm. Anything new by either group comes out the oven past its expiration date.

So I had apparently intentionally or accidentally skipped Miracle. It’s actually embarrassingly catchy and I dig Alex’s drums on it. Feedback was obviously aids. So had no idea what to expect. Make it make sense is like the most embarrassing attempt at nu metal it actually sounds like meme music. The chorus is horrible. Lebron intro sounds like a direct rip off of something else. I just can’t place it. It would be a solid 2.5 but those lyrics are so cheese. I don’t even know how they record these lyrics and feel content with them lol

Also a physical first release, from these dudes, is hilarious. Surely that’s going to flop

Yeah the whole album is out now on CD and vinyl only. But they put a couple tracks on YT and then Miracle and Feedback which were released prior are on the album

@JayEnder

At least with Underoath there was a legitimate reason to expect that what with the lineup turmoil and initial breakup. This is just insane. Especially considering what happened with Victory Records.

Their production is whack lately. The vocals on Make it Make Sense are awful. Super layered and muffled? Guitars just disappear. They are basically nu-metal now. I've tried, but I can't really listen to anything post Common Courtesy...

There is a lot of good music coming out this year, this band is not one of the bands putting out good music

Agreed to a point. I’ll still listen to stuff up to Common Courtesy if it pops up, and I don’t think I’ll ever wanna get rid of my vinyl copy of Homesick
