those choruses are all easy to listen. I couldn't agree more with a quote from the review “The music is not as outwardly complex as it sometimes was on previous records”, they are simply not COMPLEX, super well-organized. Also I must say I enjoyed the review a lot.

I enjoy the vocals here. Feels like Rody isn't just belting it out, he is mixing instead. Makes sense since the larynx gets harder and stiffer with age, so the overall range decreases a fair bit. To hit these notes he has to work on the transitions between head voice and chest voice instead of forcing himself to do everything in chest voice. One of the side effects is a change in his tone to a lighter sound.

He still sounds quite shouty though and it makes sense, since it's metal lol. I wonder hoe Rody holds up in live performances

Production definitely hurts this a bit. Vocals feel disconnected from the rest of the music sometimes. As much as I love this band they've never had the best production which kind of annoys me lol. For me it ever detracted too much from the music until this one though.
