Almost all of this perfect man.
One of the most underrated bands ever. They absolutely deserve to be mentioned next to the Beatles, Stones, Who, Kinks, Jefferson Airplane, The Byrds, etc when we mention legendary 60s rock and psych bands. Arthur Lee was unstoppable for a few years there.

i feel like so many people just gush over alone again and then never bother checking out the rest of the album. that song rules, but honestly so many songs here are polished gems. maybe the people would be the times is my favourite

A House is not a Motel for me. This one has serious nostalgia for me, my dad loved this band and introduced me to them when I was 12.
Usually I prefer their first two albums but as I get older I find myself coming back to this one more. The Red Telephone has really grown on me over the years especially.

Definitely check out their first two albums Gyro. More garage-y, less heady psych like on here, but still fan-flippin-tastic. Da Capo especially is where they really come into their own. I wouldn't rank either of them above Forever Changes but there's some incredible stuff on them. "She Comes in Colors" blows me away every single time. 7 and 7 Is is basically the birth of punk rock. Da Capo is amazing.

Also for my money Love's version of "Hey Joe" off their first album is the best god damn version of the song ever recorded. Yep, better than Hendrix.
