why are people comparing this to TA1300 lol, that album could not be more different of a rap album than this. both are 5's though, but for completely different reasons. this is Earl's smartest and arguably his most cohesive album yet, and TA1300 also broke new ground in that it was basically an anti-rap record which is the only way i can describe it. but if you don't know what i mean, i'm talking about shit like the Clout Cobain music video and message, among others. but SRS is just an emotionally desolate yet thoughtfully gripping record that no one else in the history of the genre could've made. "The Mint" with Navy Blue is one of the best songs this decade easily.

Agreed hard. I resonate with the lyrics on IDLS more, but the beats on this thing are fucking mint.

Sorry Reich. :[ Earl's bars in that one slap I'll say that much.
Mentioned IDLS in the last page noler. I think he just added to that mini discussion lol. Fuckin page breaks.

Gotcha gotcha. I love IDLS, felt actually complete.
This album probably gets me more negative and shitty than any other album, but I can’t shake the feeling that earl’s philosophy of experimentation on this album was “fuck around as much as possible and see if people will still eat it up” and we sure af did.
Guess it’s pretty fitting that an earl album makes me feel this cynical, but the point still stands. If a rookie artist made this album the reception would be so utterly different.

Dude has the same annoying ass monotone flow on every track with the same beat on every track. Garbage.

did you actually listen to this or did someone tell you it was the same beat on every track and you're too lazy to disagree

1. He’s had the same flow for the last 3 albums
2. The beats are so wildly varying lmao. I can understand not liking them for being like weird and atonal but to say they’re all the same...wat
