I don't know what it is but for me, this is leagues ahead of their other 3 records. Just kinda moving past the pop-punk genre but I keep coming back to this thing. Such a fun listen. Perfect length and the slower songs work really well.

Their aggressive stuff doesn't really do it for me anymore. They seem to have found the perfect balance on this album. I mean Upside Down is just the perfect chill out song

Agree Clumseee. Although, I do wish there was like one more song thrown in. Saw them live right after this dropped and it was a ton of fun. I can't wait for a new one though, already getting the itch.

Bumped to 4.5.

One of the best pop-punk records ever and probably my favorite album of last year. However, I can't 5 because of Take Me As You Please being a weird, anachronistic remnant of the poor songwriting that was sometimes present on previous albums.

Take Me As You Please is one of the songs that got me to bump this to a 4. Love it.

I actually don’t love Take Me As You Please. It’s easily the weakest song on here for me, but the other songs are so damn good it’s still a 5. It’s one of those albums that I listen to front to back consistently. It flows super well in my opinion.

Yes, and when you remove Take Me As You Please and get Out of It -> Let It Go everything flows much better

If I Fall is just a 10/10

Will never get tired of that song.

There's also some anti-pop restraint on this album that just pushes it above the rest of their discog. For instance Small Talk is a really good song, but the last chorus feels really tacked on. Instead, If I Fall has this catchy, punchy bridge followed by a moody intro. The composition here is just much more interesting than their old stuff.
