I do think Year of the Snitch is a slight slight dip in quality and a bit of an odd note to end on, but I can't really complain. There's still plenty of dingers

tho from age 15-18 these guys were my favorite/most listened artist and that's just not at all a time of my life i enjoy revisiting so maybe its a skill issue.

surprised not to have seen it brought up anywhere here... but flatlander pretty much confirmed that the band is done and that ride doesn't want to do it anymore.

then again you can't reliably take these guys at their word but

Most important band of the century so far. I don't care.

a college crush introduced me to death grips few days after exmilitary came out. we plastered my dorm wall with paper, dropped acid, and jammed that album while we drew dumb murals. intense but unforgettable. later we'd go to a party where someone had privately hired a professional teddy roosevelt impersonator and i just about lost my shit. good times. good times.
