It's not quite as 'epic' as some moments on TBP are but it's much better as a whole, especially the lyricism

It's also more fun. To me it feels like TBP relies on the 'epic' aspect too much. And even songs that kinda feel like they could be on this(House of Wolves, Dead) aren't nearly as fun as, let's say Hang 'Em High.
Parallels: I don't know, to me they're on par(okay, this is a bit better, that's why I don't have Conventional Weapons as 4). Depends on the mood now that I think about it.

This album is super underrated in my opinion. Yes, of course there's the two songs everyone knows on here but, the whole album together is honestly pretty solid. They were definitely at their peak when this album dropped.
