Million is full of (nice!) surprises, I would’ve put more than a few quid on Transient > yet here we are. Ultimately, there isn’t an ‘incorrect’ answer. Different tipples. Their core sound was a lot more established by this point and this is the most consistent iteration of that sound
…and yes the new one is also “lovely” thus far. Convincing comeback. We are blessed.

The new album gets better with each listen. No song stands out in particular, which distinguishes it from their peak albums, but it has a remarkable flow. It feels like arriving home after a long-long journey and taking a hot bath.
