Everything is Fire's lesser focus on atmosphere and greater focus on nonstop riffing helps it. There's a lot of really interesting counterpoint and it's still the best execution of their sound. Taking a motif and then presenting slightly different permutations of it again and again to wind up in new places in a very natural way. Their more atmospheric and slightly more post-metal influenced sound that they adopted later is great as well but feels less structurally daring at times.

I think the guitar sound they got on this album is better than the rest of their discog. The guitars sound warmer and fuller, which helps the atmosphere.
