"If there's one thing I can critique about the record it's the flow."
Yea this album felt pretty scattered on first listen, but I think this oddly compliments the album title and part of that experience on first listen is what I enjoyed about it. Going from Limerent Death to Symptom was pretty disorienting lol.

This is probably not going to be 5. But it is one of their better albums IMO.

Option paralysis

One of us

Miss Machine - the only album I never really got into, might be because the first thing I've heard by them was Ire Works right after it's release, and it was much better than MM.

For me, this album is a continuation of the previous two. I still hold Calculating as the band's finest work with Miss Machine following but this is a fantastic addition to their discography.

I can safely say that the band have never disappointed with any of their releases which is a feat a lot of bands would die for, especially with seven albums.

Pretty average on first couple spins. Fugue seems like pointless filler. Will keep listening but I find some of the vocals unbearable. Enjoyed last album much more.

pos'd, great review

As for the album, holy fucking shit, this is the best thing they've ever done. It's perfect, all 11 tracks are incredible and my god the title-track album closer hits hard. What a fantastic way to end their career, they will be forever known as one of the greats of their genre.

At the moment this is top three, could definitely supersede all of 'em if it grows right.
