Yeah I’m bumping this to a 4. It’s just so solid, catchy and beautiful. It’s actually pretty uplifting too and there are some very positive songs.
Impulse is still my fav with this a close second.

self titled is jesse's best melodies on anything imo (makes the new stuff having the worst a shock alright lmao). this disqualifies itself hard with orchid on that front lol majorly wack hook, but i dont think itd be as good as this, impulse or augment on that front without that either
just not as much going on in the content of the melodies here and a bunch of them feel pretty forced (safehaven, drift and luminesce's hooks), but its hard to stand against the glistening electric twilight tbf

I actually heard Augment first but this one just felt more mature and intentional than noodly and technical. I nerded on it big time. Augment feels like Impulse 2.0 (not saying it’s better - just definitely similar albums and sounds). So I appreciate the differentiation here
