I haven't listened to much of their earlier material but this still stands among the best metal albums I've heard this half of the decade.

Check out the previous two albums and you'll probably dig them as well.

He has Wrongdoers 5'd :p
Meridional is solid and has several tracks that I adore but it is highly flawed in it's execution.

I really love Meridional. I used to really not like both it and Anti Mother but they’ve both grown on me so much over the years. Meridional does feel a bit overlong and the interludes don’t make much sense but they don’t bother me. The only interlude they’ve really done that works fine is on Wrongdoers

Meridional is the blue print for Wrongdoers, IMO. It was their attempt to meld their aggressive side and their melodic side, with some mixed results. Wrongdoers was the true successful melding of the two sides. I feel Anti-Mother, on the other hand, is a total shit stain.

Phewwww, Redeemer may be their best, imo.

for me it's probably Wrongdoers > Bless > O'God > Polar Similar > Redeemer > Meridional > Anti Mother
first four are all 4.5's though and Redeemer and Meridional 4's, band has always been consistently awesome imo

Lol except for Anti Mother right?
I used to really not like that one but I dig every song now. It’s still their weakest though

I can forgive them for making one misstep when they've been on a massive upswing since

They're still listed as members on their facebook but if they have left, I hope Norma continues the hot streak they've been on.
|
| |
Wait, when did Clayton left Norma Jean?
