I'm not remotely offended by this band's lyrics. They're no worse than Necropedophile by Cannibal Corpse from decades ago.

I just dislike them because they're lame deathcore with no good riffs. Suffocation and Cryptopsy riff so much harder going for the same "brutal" sound. Technicality isn't really an asset in itself, unless you're treating music as some kind of athletic feat.

Also agree that the obscure Norwegian thrash band Infant Death is better. Not a classic band but they riff hard. Riffs > chugs any day of the week.

Caught 'Feast,' ;Childchewer,' and 'Thy Faith, Thy Oblivion' on stream, and the album is going to be beyond ridiculous.

The last track and the end of the title track are genuinely hilarious.

Haven't gotten that far yet but that riff on A Rape of Sirens at 0:37 is fucking terrifying.

What can I even say about Dickie Allen? Dudes an absolute otherworldly creature on this new album.

You gave this album a 3 and the new one a 4.5. Digging it a lot more. That's cool to see. Yea I'll need to spend more time with the new one of course but I'm loving what I'm hearing.

Btw since it seems you are into polished and extremely heavy music Vitriol's debut just released and it's pretty wild as well. Not deathcore but insanely heavy.

They really killed it this time. Saying they've hit their stride without being overly edgy (sound wise) would be an understatement. Very mature record for a band like these guys.

And yeah man, this one is too haphazard and "br00tal" for the sake of being "br00tal."

Bout to give this a spin. Not all that hyped but I'll give it a shot, hope there are some songs that prioritize songwriting over wank.

new album is much more mature in terms of songwriting, less trying to be all in your face but rather focusing more on grooves and riffs.

dickie sounds even more like a demon, and I didnt think that was possible.
